In highly effective schools Transformational Leadership extends beyond administration and members of the school’s leadership team, to also include “customized” teams of leaders (both teachers and administrators) who join together to address specific issues or cohorts of students who are not proving to be successful. The creation of task forces is an organizational response to data indicative of the need for specific adults to synergistically find answers to persistent challenges hindering student learning.
